The marine areas near Port Townsend offer some of the best bird, whale and marine wildlife watching in the Pacific Northwest. Harbor seals, Stellar and California sea lions, porpoise, river otter, bald eagles and the occasional Orca, Minke, Gray and Humpback whale are a common sight on our Port Townsend Wildlife / Birdwatching Charters. Nearby Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to spot tufted puffins, black oystercatchers, rhinoceros auklets and many more summer nesting alcids, gulls and other sea birds. Port Townsend and the North Olympic Peninsula also hosts many species of unique resident and migratory waterfowl including harlequin duck, long-tailed duck, Pacific black brant, Barrow’s goldeneye, mergansers and three species of scoter.

** Charter rates are listed for 1-2 people. Additional persons welcome @ $50. per adult ( kids under 14 free ! ) Four (4) adults maximum group size for charters.
