Rhodies in Bloom

All around the property here at the Treefrog Woods the wild Pacific Rhododendrons Rhododendron macrophyllum have been busting loose with their elegant pink blooms. It has been a particularly cool and wet spring and this seems to have contributed to their splendor. Some of the rhodies on the property are 10 feet high and well over fifty years old or more. It really is something to see with all this pink against an evergreen backdrop of salal, fir and cedar.
